Summary

HighArc is hiring a Sr. Software Engineer, Integrations to join their Software Development team. Join a founding team who’ve shipped products for Autodesk, Electronic Arts, Nike, and Apple. Key skills: React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js.

About the role

About Us

Higharc is a VC-backed startup that is changing how new homes are designed and built. Join a founding team who’ve shipped products for Autodesk, Electronic Arts, Nike, and Apple. We have raised a total of $83M with support from top-notch venture capital firms and more than 18 strategic investors—industry leaders in construction, building products manufacturing, and distribution.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to evolve technical direction of our B2B platform’s integrations with customer systems, especially ERP platforms. This role requires not only strong engineering skills but also the architectural insight to design and guide robust, scalable integration patterns across a variety of customer environments—many of which have inconsistent API support..

Core Responsibilities

  • Design and implement integrations between our platform and customer ERP systems, including REST and other API-based approaches as well as non-standard integration patterns.

  • Shape the technical architecture to ensure stability, scalability, and long-term maintainability of our integration solutions.

  • Build and evolve customer-facing APIs and supporting backend services to enable seamless data exchange and automation.

  • Collaborate with product managers and customer success teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Establish high standards for code quality, testing, and monitoring of integration services.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship, helping the team navigate the complexity of heterogeneous enterprise systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering integrations with ERP or other complex enterprise systems.

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and experience with our core stack (React, Node.js, Next.js, PostgreSQL).

  • Ability to define and drive architectural decisions for API design and enterprise integrations.

  • Proven track record of building and deploying scalable B2B or enterprise-facing applications.

  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

  • Portfolio of relevant integration or API projects (via GitHub, personal website, or equivalent).

While we've identified the core experience and skills required above, please still apply if you have more or different experience than this! We will use your previous experience and performance across the series of interviews to establish appropriate level within our organization in a fair and equitable way.
