About Us

Higharc is a VC-backed startup that is changing how new homes are designed and built. Join a founding team who’ve shipped products for Autodesk, Electronic Arts, Nike, and Apple. We have raised a total of $83M with support from top-notch venture capital firms and more than 18 strategic investors—industry leaders in construction, building products manufacturing, and distribution.

Higharc's cutting edge Visualization team is growing! We are seeking a 3D Prop Artist to lead outsourced asset production and oversee the translation of large manufacturer product libraries into high-quality, optimized, production-ready 3D assets.

What You'll Do

You will help scale our visualization capabilities by establishing clear asset standards, building efficient prop pipelines, and ensuring consistent quality across both internal and external production. Expect to:

  • Lead outsourced prop production, including vendor selection, briefing, quality control, and continuous improvement of workflows

  • Translate large manufacturer product catalogs into efficient, standardized, high-quality 3D prop libraries

  • Define and enforce asset standards for modeling, UVs, materials, naming conventions, LODs, and optimization

  • Create and refine photo-realistic 3D props and materials that meet both artistic and technical requirements

  • Build scalable pipelines for asset ingestion, review, iteration, and deployment into a custom web based platform and the Unreal Engine

  • Partner with internal visualization, engineering, and product teams to ensure assets integrate cleanly into production environments

  • Identify automation opportunities and leverage AI-assisted workflows to improve velocity without sacrificing quality

About You

You're a systems thinker brings strong game development experience, has shipped major projects, and understands how to turn real-world products into performant, reusable digital assets at scale.

You have:

  • 5+ years in game development or real-time production managing outsourced art production at scale

  • Expert knowledge utilizing Unreal Engine Editor

  • Professional experience utilizing Maya, Zbrush, Adobe Photoshop, and Substance Painter/Designer

  • Proven experience leading complex asset initiatives independently with strong ownership and a high quality bar

  • A track record of building or improving structured, scalable asset pipelines and asset standards

  • Experience developing automation or AI-enhanced production tools

  • Exceptional attention to detail--you work fast and accurately

  • Passion for architecture and interior design with a deep understanding of real-world materials, manufacturing logic, and construction details
